Last night was our friend Robert Simpson's retirement party! It was a great party, inspite of the cold! We spent most of our time talking to Jim & Sheila. We haven't seen them nearly enough in the past five years so it was good to spend some time with them. I will add the pictures tomorrow.
Robert's party was in the backyard at their house. In my opinion, the best place to have a party! I think some people left early because of the cold, it was 47 degrees when we left. The meadow was as beautiful as always the twinkle lights were twinkling, there were lots of candles adding to the magical ambiance. The centerpieces were adorable! The use of pistacios was ingenius!! Quite the addictive little snack!!
